I really enjoyed today’s session. I agree that multicultural education is essential, and teaching young children about different cultures is especially important. As I mentioned earlier in class, our preschoolers are naturally innocent and accepting of one another. Introducing them to diverse cultures at this early age helps them understand and appreciate differences. This kind of early education fosters respect, empathy, and a foundation for inclusive thinking as they grow.

I agree that teaching them early about other cultures encourages the students to be aware and accepting of other cultures without even really realizing it. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I totally agree, it is important to start educating our children as young as preschool (or even younger). As you said during the class discussion, they understand and observe the adult(s) around them, so how they act in school and in their environment come from what they observe.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree that it is so important to each a respect, understating, and acceptance for diversity at an early age.
