"Multiculturalism" is the co-existence of diverse cultures, where culture includes racial, religious, or cultural groups and is manifested in customary behaviours, cultural assumptions and values, patterns of thinking, and communicative styles. We are all different, but we really are more alike.

  3. Well said, Rosie! In light of this, we need to be culturally responsive to meet the unique needs of our culturally and linguistically diverse student population. We can all learn from each other and experience the richness of the diverse cultures.

  4. Especially our connection within our Pacific realm, definitely our similarities becomes a known factor to familial bonds. It's the outside influences that increases the differences with tendencies to separate rather than to bring together.
