The biggest take away from today was how powerful it is to include all cultures in the classroom. Like Grace said, we want our classrooms to be a safe space. Finding ways to incorporate different cultures into our lessons or daily instruction is crucial to helping those students feel seen and comfortable so that those basic needs are met and can focus on their lessons.
