Day 5 - Presenting our Blog Project - "We are more alike than different!"

Here is our URL for our Group Blog, https://wearemorealikethandifferent1.blogspot.com/ "We are More Alike than Different." Thank you, Ms. Castro, Mae, and Ms. Syl, and Dr. Rivera! We had so much fun and gain so much knowledge in creating our blog in creating meaningful ESL Anthologies. I also learned so much from all our classmates. 😇💓 Gif @Tenor

Day 5 - FAREWELL DR. RIVERA AND CLASSMATES

Post your final goodbye entry. It has been a pleasure having all of you as students. I will certainly miss all of you, but I am confident that you will use the educational technology skills/strategies that you've gained to continue to empower your culturally and linguistically diverse student population. Good luck!

Best regards,
Dr. Rivera

Indicated on my post on the first day " I look forward to learning from the instructor and classmates" I would like to say that I sure did.  I now know more about technology in the area of blogging.  How to create a post, add a gif and create a blog.  Thank you Dr. Rivera for being patient and taking the time to go over in steps, it is appreciated.  Thank you to my classmates who asked questions, shared their knowledge, and willing to help.  Although the class was only a week, I feel that I gained a lot out of it.

LAST DAY- THANKS EVERYONE!

GOOD LUCK TO YOUR PRESENTATION LADIES!

Finakpo' Tarehan Klas yan Anthology/Blog

I was happy today just like all the days for this class. It is fun to learn more about what this class is all about. I have definitely learned so much just with our professor always sharing the websites and ways to research and the steps to guide us in making sure we know and understand what we need to do when we post, upload, etc. She is very good in asking us repeatedly if we have any questions regarding our work with "Anthology" I am actually going to use more of these resources in creating my blog for my own students. I know that am learning everyday to improve ways to make my teaching fun and encouraging for my all my students to learn. Kudos, Prima Doktora, for allowing us to open up and feel comfortable in your class where we can continue to ask questions and then you being able to go through all the steps visually through this technology.

Day 3- Blog/Anthology Brainstorming/End Day with Video

                                                                                                                                                       Hello everyone,

It was nice to see and hear the class asking questions and getting the right answers from Dr. Rivera. The class was pretty much spent trying to learn how to insert images and using GIF as tool to create anthology for the class blog as part of Dr. Rivera's requirement. I realized how very fond I am using GIF. I really put it to good use when I do text using my cell phone,  but I hardly use it on my writing. Everyone is just so attached using it. It’s a shortcut of sending your message or expressing your feelings.

The end of the class can be a hectic time, trying to get caught up with my posting and final project for presentation. The last day of the course offers me a great opportunity to reflect on what I have learned together with my classmates and how it can help me with my students. In a sense, the last day of class is also not a bad thing but it can also be an important beginning for me.

The class end but my group met up for more hours to continue working on our blog components. The group decided to work on Philippines, Guam, and American Cultures. The biggest brainstorming ever took place! Everyone put in their ideas and work our way up to the objective of the final project. We were able to finish a lot but there was still half of the work needs to get done. Panic Panic Panic!

Everyone decided to take a break for the day. No one has eaten yet. I stayed around at my office to start winding down before I go home. I decided to look for a nice video to watch. I found one that I always want to see...this video reminds me of my mother when she was alive...I hope you will like it as much as I do...thank you for watching it!

LET'S ...

It...!

See you in the morning ladies!

Day 4 - Blog/Anthology Finalization

I appreciated today's class .. everyday is a day to appreciate the gifts and blessings we breath life.

We were able to go through the process of creating a blog .. step by step tutorial.  Looking to see had a stable internet connection, I was able to share following along Dr. Rivera's instructions/directions.  Did it! An AHA! moment for me.

I was suppose to be a short virtual meet BUT anytime we're able to ride the waves (probably on a body board rather than the surf-kine) it's valuable time .. mini lessons.  Just like what Anag shared, her blog for her kinder class,  U will try to include video clips, slides, voice recordings - yes!

Thank You .. Dr. Rivera, Ms Rose Cruz and Ms Mae Mendiola for joining us for our GPT class.

This wire jewelry was hand-crafted by Dr. Arn Diaz while in LUTA for a PIBBA Conference.  A special piece for me because the "DULALAS" is my daughter +ell.
